There is nothing more appetizing to snack than a good piece of homemade cake. That is why today I bring you a very easy recipe to prepare at home thanks to Mycook: Almond cake.

In Malaga, my land of adoption, there is a lot of almond and very good quality. For that reason, taking advantage of the fact that some friends have given me a lot, I decided to prepare this delicious cake that you can serve as a snack or dessert.

The ingredients of the cake are very simple and easy to find in supermarkets, given that due to the confinement by Covid-19, there are ingredients that are already scarce in them, such as flour. This cake has almonds, sugar and eggs, as well as a base of puff pastry that you can buy in the same supermarket or make it homemade if you feel like it.

  • 1 puff pastry
  • 250 grams of ground almond
  • 250 grams of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • drops of vanilla essence
  • sugar glass
  1. First we line a low mold and place the puff pastry sheet, adjusting it with the fingers. Similarly, cut out the remaining edges and leave the mold.
  2. Then we pour the ground almonds and sugar into the jar and progress 1 minute progressive speed 7-10.
  3. Then we pour the eggs and drops of vanilla essence and again program 1 minute speed 4.
  4. Finally we pour the cream over the puff pastry and put it in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes at 200 degrees.
  5. To finish sprinkle with glass sugar once the cake is cold
