Today a village recipe, which grandmothers did when there were apples at home and had to take advantage of them and if it is also with eggs from your hens then better still.

I’m going to give you the amounts of tagatosa in case anyone can’t eat sugar so you don’t miss this rich sponge cake.

  • 3 eggs
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 125 grams of oil (sunflower, or very soft olive)
  • 125 grams of flour
  • 1 natural yogurt without lactose
  • 1 sachet of yeast
  • 3 golden apples of normal size
  1. Preheat the oven to 170°.
  2. Put the mixing trowel on the blades, throw in the jar eggs and sugar and schedule 3 minutes at 40° speed 4.
  3. While peeling apples, remove the heart and cut into thin sheets. Book.
  4. Remove the mixing trowel and add oil, yogurt and apples. Schedule 2 minutes at speed 4 without temperature.
  5. Pour flour and yeast sifted. Mix everything for 30 seconds at speed 3.
  6. Dump the mixture into a plumcake mold; if it is silicone like mine will not stick but if it is not your case smear the mold with a little butter or oil.
  7. Put in the oven 40 minutes, check if it is done by pricking it with a needle. Ensure that it does not burn too much above; if it was roasted a lot, cover with foil.
  8. Remove and let cool on a grid.
I put 200 gr of sugar because I used golden apples but if you use some that are something acidic add up to 250 gr.
If you want to do it with tagatosa replace sugar by 130 gr of tagatosa.
