Fried milk

In addition to the toast, one of the most typical desserts of Easter is fried milk . And although making it in the traditional way can be a little cumbersome and you have to be there doing it around and more turns, doing it with Mycook is a matter of a few minutes.

Once the fried milk dough is prepared, let it curd in the fridge for a few hours or if you prefer, which is how I usually do, let it curd all night and fry it the next day. Then you will only have to go through sugar with cinnamon and ready to enjoy.

Fried milk can be tasted hot, warm or cold, as you like best. You can eat alone, but accompanied by a ball of ice cream is also spectacular.

Ingredients
  • 500 gr. whole milk
  • the peel of 1 lemon (only the white part)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 100 gr. sugar
  • 60 gr. cornstarch
  • 1 beaten egg (for batter) flour
  • (for batter)
  • sugar and cinnamon powder (for batter)
  • Oil for frying
Preparation
  1. Place the mixing trowel on the blades.
  2. To pour milk, sugar, lemon peel, cinnamon stick and cornstarch into a jar. Schedule 6 minutes, temperature 100ºC, speed 3.
  3. Remove the cinnamon stick and lemon peel.
  4. Place the milk cream that we have just prepared in a square or rectangular greased container, so that it is about 2 cm thick.
  5. Let cool and curd in the refrigerator for about 4 hours or overnight.
  6. After that time to prepare fried milk we just need to cut it into rectangles or squares.
  7. Then batter in flour and egg and fry in plenty of hot oil.
  8. Remove to a plate with absorbent paper to remove excess oil.
  9. Finally batter the fried milk in sugar mixed with cinnamon powder.
