hailized lemonade

limonada granizada

We continue with the recipes of refreshing drinks Ideal for relieving summer heat. Making natural lemonade with our Mycook is super simple and very fast, but I think the best thing for these days is to make it hail. Hilly lemonade is perfect for hydrating and refreshing.

I usually peel lemons, especially if they are from those with very thick skin. But if yours are finite-skinned, you can wash them well and use them without peeling.

Hilly lemonade
The perfect drink to cope with the heat wave.

Ingredients
  • 2 or 3 lemons
  • 500 gr. water
  • 150 gr. sugar or sweetener to taste
  • a few peppermint leaves (optional)
  • 500 gr. ice
Preparation
  1. Clean the lemons thoroughly, peel them by removing skin and yellow part. Cut into quarters and remove the seeds.
  2. Put lemons into the jar together with sugar. Shred 15 seconds at speed 6.
  3. Add water and a few peppermint leaves and mix 30 seconds at speed 6.
  4. Then pour the ice and schedule another 30 seconds at speed 6until our lemonade has been properly textured.
  5. Serve immediately.
Notes
If you have plenty of hail lemonade you can store it in the fridge or in the freezer. In case of putting it in the freezer, before serving it you must pass it again through the jar of your Mycook and grind it a few seconds at 6-7 speed so that it is with a correct texture.
If you use homemade ice to make the recipe you will have no problem when it comes to crushing it with your machine. If you use purchased ice, usually larger and much harder cubes, so I advise you to pass them a little through water before throwing them into the jar so that they do not give you trouble.
