Mango and orange sorbet

The heat begins to come and fancy cool things, at home we like to make ice cream, slush and homemade sorbets with the help of our Mycook. This mango and orange sorbet is one of the last we’ve tried and loved it. It is very easy and quick to do, a minute of crushing and little more.

As previous preparation we must have the mango cut into cubes and frozen to make this recipe. This sorbet can be consumed immediately or keep it in the freezer until the moment of its consumption.

  • 600 gr. Peeled, chopped and frozen mango
  • 200 gr. orange juice
  • 120 gr. of sugar
  1. Place the mango, juice into the jar orange and sugar. Give a couple of Turbohits.
  2. Then grind for 1 minute at speed 8. Check that there is no piece of uncrushed fruit left.
  3. Serve immediately or store in the freezer until consumption.
If the sorbet is going to be consumed only adults and you want to give it a little bit of joy you can add during the crushed phase a drizzle of liqueur (50 gr. approximately) as gin or rum.
