A little bit of being Mother’s Day, and even if the thing is not for rockets, you have to celebrate it. Fideuá simple, an easy recipe, cheap and with a surprising taste. That this blissful coronavirus does not prevent us from celebrating this beautiful day we will also have to celebrate that we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. #YoMeQuedoEnCasa.

The ingredients are very few and the most expensive are going to be the shrimps but we have options… you can put them frozen that nothing happens. Padrón peppers give it a different taste but you can also replace them with a piece of pepper, it will be worth anyone you have at home.

For children to be entertained we can put them to peel the prawns and thus collaborate in the realization of the recipe.

Ingredients
  • 14 prawns
  • 600 gr water
  • 150 gr of onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 6 peppers of padrón
  • 40 gr of
  • salt
  • oil

  • 130 gr of fideuá
Preparation
  1. Peel the prawns and throw into the jar the shells and heads with 500 gr of water. Schedule 5 minutes at 120° speed 2. Strain and book.
  2. Clean and dry the jar well.
  3. Add oil and heat 1 minute at 120° speed 1.
  4. Add garlic, onion and chopped peppers and grind 40 seconds at speed 5.
  5. Saute for 7 minutes at 120° speed 1.
  6. Add the reserved broth and the remaining 100 gr of water and cook without the stopper with the basket put upside down for 7 minutes at 120° speed 2.
  7. Put the trowel on the blades and add the fideuá and prawns that we will have split into two pieces. Cook 9 minutes at 120° speed 2.
  8. Take out into a casserole and let stand 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Look at the fideuá package to know the cooking time, in mine put 9 minutes so I programmed that time.
