Eggplant cake

Today’s recipe is ideal for everyone but especially for those who are on a diet and start to be a little tired of eating the typical diet foods: chicken, salads, fish, etc…

It is an eggplant cake, a dish that is very good, it is quite economicalbecause very few ingredients are required and it is a good way to eat eggplants if eating them alone you do not get too excited about their taste.   • 3 eggplants Sliced
  • ham ham
  • sliced cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • Fried tomato sauce
  • 200 ml milk
  • Grated cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Black pepper

  • Preparation
    1. We will begin by washing eggplants. We cut the capes and cut into sheets about half a centimeter thick. When we have them all, add them to a bowl with water (you have to cover them all), add salt and stir a little. We leave to soak for about 10-15 minutes so that they are not so bitter.
    2. The next step is to remove the eggplant sheets and dry them with a dry cloth to remove excess water from them.
    3. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
    4. Once dried the eggplants we will grill them with a little olive oil and salt. And once it’s done it will only be missing to place foil to foil each of the above mentioned ingredients .
    5. On a baking glass tray we will place a fried tomato base, and then add a layer of eggplants. On top of this layer we will add another little fried tomato, and then slices of ham and cheese. And so we’ll be laying until we finish all the eggplant sheets.
    6. Then, with the 200 ml of milk add the 3 eggs, salt and pepper. Stir well and add the mixture to our eggplant tray. The last step will be to add the grated cheese and put in the oven (preheated) for about 35-40 minutes.
    7. And ready to eat!
    Notes
    Instead of using eggplants we can also use zucchini.
